Facebook Post (Now Viral) Shows How Little Restaurants Make From Grubhub Orders

Platforms like Grubhub and Doordash have come under heavy fire for their treatment of restaurants. Between signing them up for services they never agreed to or charging them for phone calls it’s become a nightmare for most small businesses especially since COVID-19 where these orders are the only ones coming in. Giuseppe Badalamenti, who owns a food truck business “Chicago Pizza Boss” has posted his March Grubhub orders statement publicly on Facebook to give people an idea of what he’s going through. Netizens are absolutely stunned! If you think we can help a business in your area please share this post with them using the Facebook button below.

😉Stop believing you are supporting your community by ordering from a 3rd party delivery company Out of almost $1,100...

Badalamenti’s post shows that he took in a total of $1,042.63 over a total of 46 prepaid orders and only netted $376.54 what he says is “almost enough to pay for the food”

This isn’t something we should be supporting. It’s great for the consumer sure, great exposure for a business but this isn’t great if the only orders you are taking in are coming from Grubhub, Doordash or Ubereats. These orders are not helping keep the doors open, the staff salaried or even the food expenses covered.
